The Friends of Bedfordshire Orchestral Society is a county-wide association dedicated to publicising and raising money to support the activities of the Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra and Bedford Sinfonia.

 

By becoming a member of the Friends you are:

 

• Subsidising local players needing financial support to participate in Symphony Orchestra concerts

• Contributing to music hire costs for rehearsals and concerts

• Contributing to the hire of specialist instruments

 

An annual subscription of £25 per single/£35 per couple entitles you to:

 

• An annual newsletter with details of concerts for the coming season

• A complimentary programme per Friends membership for each concert

• Reserved seating

• One free ticket per season for a non-Friend

 

A normal season generally includes 3 concerts by Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra and 3 concerts by Bedford Sinfonia. Please note, this does not include concerts where either orchestra is accompanying Bedford Choral Society.

 

A Friends Season Ticket for the entire series of Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra and Bedford Sinfonia concerts at the discounted price of £80 (full price £88) or £65 (concession price £70) entitles you to:

 

• An extra £2 discount on the full/concession ticket price for each additional ticket purchased per Friends membership.

 

Please become a member of the Friends by downloading, completing and returning this form together with your membership subscription for this year (cheques payable to Bedfordshire Orchestral Society) to: The BOS Treasurer, 30 Furness Close, Bedford, MK41 8RN. We would be delighted to have your support.

 

If you are a UK taxpayer then by simply completing the Gift Aid declaration along with the rest of your membership form, we can currently claim 25p for every £1 you donate from the Inland Revenue and it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!

 

And finally ... If you have a bank account you can pay your annual membership fee by Standing Order (by completing the additional section of the form).
